Job Summary:

We are now looking for a Tax Specialist to join our team and handle Tax compliance matters for multiple countries across South East Asia and Oceania. The position will also look into mitigating tax risks, provide expert tax advice and to ensure high quality in tax accounting and reporting.

Responsibilities:

·  Manage Reporting and Compliance of Direct Taxes including Withholding Taxes
·  Perform, review and sign-off applicable SOX controls.
·  Manage Tax authorities requirement in times of tax audit
·  Assist in compiling information required for Transfer price document submission as per Internal and Local External requirement
·  Assist in providing Tax advice. Provide input on tax implications for bids, offers, tenders etc.
·  Ensure relevant function in the organization receives continuous Tax education and have information on changes in the local regulation.
·  Manage M&A Financial Due Diligence (FDD) & Finance Integration

Key Qualifications:

·  Graduate of Bachelor in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance and/or Tax Law or equivalent.
·  Atleast 3 years working experience in a Tax Firm
·  Knowledgeable in local and international tax legislation across South East Asia region
·  Basic Knowledge in Accounting standards (Local and IFRS)
·  Knowledge and understanding of financial systems such as SAP
·  Ability to work in cross-country/cultural set up
·  Ability to work and influence decision makers
·  Can work under minimum supervision and tight deadlines
