Job Summary:

The Privacy Manager is an individual contributor role within the Information Security & Privacy Center of Excellence in Group Security, supporting the Ericsson business in the Americas. This position is located in Plano, TX.

The Privacy Manager’s main responsibility will be driving global privacy framework implementation in the Americas. Tasks may include:

·  Driving cross-functional quarterly privacy governance meetings
·  Initiating and reviewing Privacy Impact Assessments on internal tools, processes and services
·  Providing advice and recommendations to the business on identified risks using company, customer and legal data protection requirements as well as best practice
·  Ensuring an up to date inventory of personal information assets exist along with associated data flow mappings
·  Advising on data privacy contractual wording in supplier and customer agreements
·  Creating and performing targeted privacy trainings as well as additional privacy awareness to the broader workforce
·  Reporting on metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) as part of the security maturity program
·  Responding to privacy incidents and integrating lessons learned back into the privacy framework

The Privacy Manager should exhibit the following behaviors:

Key qualifications include:

·  Bachelors degree required
·  Knowledge of privacy legislation such as GDPR and best practices
·  2-5 years experience in information security, data privacy, compliance, risk management or IT security
·  CIPP or equivalent privacy certification, or the ability to obtain within 1 year of hire

Additional skills:

·  A self-starter and has the ability to take on projects without direct supervision
·  Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization
·  Demonstrated ability to influence and drive internal stakeholders to decisions
·  Ability to work in a virtual team environment spanning across multiple time zones
·  Demonstrated ability to write technical reports, policies, procedures and to participate in presentations
