Job Summary

The Service Engineer Position is suited for an experienced project manager in the telecommunications industry that understands the necessary steps, Predecessors and successors required to deliver complex OSS implementation projects. The Candidate will have the ability to communicate both verbal and written the implementation strategies required. The candidate will have experience in negotiating amongst multiple work groups to arrive at a mutually agreed solution and implementation strategy.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

The GTO Pre Sales Service Engineer is responsible for orchestrating the strategy and delivering the services materials to the region in support of RFP's and RFI's. The Key job functions include but are not limited to: Determining the services scope based on technical architecture and customer requirements. Determining and reaching agreement on the delivery approach and creating the following collateral:

·  Cost template
·  Services Proposal description
·  Microsoft Project Schedule

The Services Engineer position in the GTO organization requires a person knowledgeable of Telecommunications operations. A resource that understand the requirements for the implementation of an OSS system into a Service Providers business environment. The candidate should have operations experience as well as implementation experience in the area of Next Generation OSS solutions in Fulfillment, Assurance, Engineering and Inventory. The candidate may have past experience as a deployment person or operations.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements

·  Bachelor’s Degree
·  Experience and knowledgeable of Telecommunications operations: Deployment and/or Operations
·  Understand the requirements for the implementation of an OSS system into a Service Providers business environment
·  Operations experience as well as implementation experience in the area of Next Generation OSS solutions in Fulfillment, Assurance, Engineering and Inventory
