Internship Term:
The internship work term will be from May 2018 – August 2018 , full-time work working 40 hours per week or part-time work working less than 32 hours per week.

The Role: Solutions Sales Intern
The Solutions Sales Team Intern is responsible for assisting with development and execution of high-level consumer facing product and sales strategies for ENGIE SST business. The intern works closely with the sales, marketing and development teams to: develop product & sales strategies that enable the sales team to hit aggressive goals, coordinate on internal and external reporting, and execute in optimal sales territory that aligns with project development. The intern will develop internal relationships that aid in the execution of the strategies. This position reports to the Vice President of Business Solutions.

The intern will be responsible for the following:

·  Assists with defining and development of sales channel mix and customer acquisition strategies in a manner that optimizes customer count, budgeted sales and marketing spend, while closely coordinating with the business units to manage the current project pipeline. 
·  Uses Salesforce.com and other CRM tools while coordinating desired system upgrades with IT and appropriate business units to streamline communication, collaboration and data integrity.
·  Reports key metrics that help manage overall sales, portfolio pricing, and partner performance management.
·  Analyzes regulatory, macroeconomic, environmental, and other research criteria, to support strategic development of business development opportunities
·  Accesses relevant data from internal and external data sources with assistance from functional managers and ENGIE colleagues to complete ad-hoc requests  Essential Physical Abilities 

·  Ability to meet highest attendance requirements 
·  Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally. 
·  Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy. 
·  Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc. 
·  Could involve some lifting. 

Hiring Requirements

·  Must be working toward a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s/MBA student working towards a master’s in Business, Sales, Engineering, Sustainability, or closely-related degree
·  Must possess a 3.0 GPA or higher & able to work up to 40 hours per week 
·  Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future sponsorship for employment visa status
·  Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
·  Must have the ability to think analytically, present ideas professionally, and work in project teams
