ENGIE are recruiting for a Security Officer to be based in Edinburgh. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week,  4 days (7am-7pm) 4 days off, 4 nights (7pm-7am). On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview:   

· 
Operating all systems within the security control room.

· 
Answering telephone calls from staff for assistance, requests & information.

· 
Monitoring and responding to alarms.

· 
Liaising with emergency services during incidents.

· 
Monitoring and reviewing CCTV systems.

· 
Carry Out Security Patrols of the site.

· 
Respond to requests for Security Assistance.

· 
Control the radio communications within the department.

· 
Carry Out administrative tasks such as daily KPI paperwork and Incident Reports.

· 
Issuing Out of Hours Access Permits to Contractors.

· 
Key Control and processing lost property.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  Experience within a Healthcare environment is advantageous.
·  Role requires and advanced disclosure.
·  Current valid SIA License.
·  CCTV License.
·  Physical ability to pass MAYBO level 4 course.
