ENGIE are recruiting for a Procurement Apprentice to be based in Sheffield or London. This is a 24 months Aprenticeship full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview:

The role of the Procurement Apprentice is to develop internal and external business relationships, gather and analyse complex, data, including financial information, and present findings in an appropriate format to team managers to support negotiation, risk management, and decision making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Running Tenders via the Coupa system (creating tender documents and pricing structures while keeping constant communication to key stakeholders)
·  Analysis of tenders in line with Engie procurement policy
·  Negotiation of prices for goods and services within Energy Solutions
·  Reporting Savings, Spend and Progress of tenders to key stakeholders
·  Organise and run meetings with a cross-functional team
·  Administration

Key Development and Learning Opportunities Include:

·  Running a complete tender process in line with a corporate procurement policy
·  Time Management
·  Commercial Understanding
·  Understanding and Working under a Procurement Policy
·  Interaction with key stakeholders within the business (Project Managers, Head of Projects, Head of Business Units, Estimation)
·  Working to strict deadlines
·  Involvement in key packages that are critical to the success of  projects
·  Working towards CIPS level 4

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  Strong written and verbal communication skills
·  High level of IT skills including Microsoft Excel
·  Financial and Commercial Skills
·  Time Management Skills
·  Evidence of successful work independently and as part of a team
