ENGIE are recruiting for an Origination Analyst to be based in Leeds (LS12 1BE). This is a permanent and full-time role which offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Purpose of the Job
Working within the Power Purchase Team, the role holder will provide support to the Operations and Sales Teams including data and price analysis, quote preparation, contract operation and the creation / update / maintenance of internal systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service to Power Purchase Agreement /Battery/Demand Side Response customers, ensuring the delivery of timely and accurate statements and invoices to customers, and the development and improvement of the billing model.
Undertake detailed price and data analysis to support bespoke quoting and product development for contracts of between 6 months and 15 years duration. Accurate quotation preparation based on either bespoke analysis or standard system outputs.
Provide support for the monitoring, analysis and reporting on electricity Export, Battery and DSR activity and margin
Support the creation of new/amended export products and the development of customer relationships and profitability by developing tools and processes to assist with current and new products.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential
Analytical skills and the ability to turn data into intelligence
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Highly numerate and able to work with large volumes of data
Able to demonstrate a practical approach to problem solving
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
Desirable
Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
Knowledge of Renewables pricing and billing policies/ methodologies and systems
Knowledge of Renewables market and products
Knowledge of embedded benefits and regulations
Advanced Excel / VBA user
Able to program in Python or other language(s)
