The Role: IT Architect - Salesforce

Purpose
Drive both technology and business process decisions, merging an understanding of management strategy with operational capabilities. Manage and facilitate the project governance process for Salesforce solutions. Maintain and continuously improve project management processes and governance structure. Perform analyses to support leadership team decisions. Define and manage project priorities. Oversee project management team that will execute the full lifecycle of project activities for enterprise-level CRM initiatives. Lead cross-functional assessments, facilitate the creation of business cases, and manage resource allocations to a portfolio of projects.

Essential Job Functions

·  Work closely with business and IT teams, internal and external partners/vendors, and lead all phases of new implementations including planning, design, configuration, development and coding of custom features and integration points.
·  Facilitate meetings and workshops across multiple sales organizations and business units within Engie to ensure alignment of goals and adoption of sales processes.
·  Works with technical staff to translate client requirements to technical design documents.
·  Must have a strong understanding of sales and business processes.
·  Help business manage data and design analytics to track key metrics.
·  Will lead technical design implementation and delivery of projects and report project status to CIO and other stakeholders. 
·  Onboard new markets to Salesforce.com, following accepted methodologies.
·  Carries out other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

·  Strong Experience in Salesforce Project Management
·  Understanding of standard Salesforce concepts, such as Apex, Process Builder, Visual Flows, Reporting, Forecasting, Sales/Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
·  Knowledge and experience in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) project management and applicability of IT controls to development deliveries.
·  Experience in design and development of Web applications, Web APIs or RESTful Web services, API management and Mobile Cloud Services like Azure
·  Ability to work in a fast paced environment working, ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with competing and constantly changing priorities. 
·  Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.  Preferred

·  Salesforce Admin and Developer Certifications
·  Experience implementing projects in the Retail Energy Industry
·  Keep up to date on the newest Salesforce features, such as Lightning Development and Salesforce DX
·  Experience with Business Intelligence tools, specifically Power BI
·  Exposure to Agile Development methodologies Essential Physical Abilities

·  Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
·  Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
·  Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy.
·  Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.
·  Could involve some lifting. Education/Experience

·  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems of related field
·  10+ years minimum technology-based project management experience
·  3-5 years of experience working with Sales & Marketing teams around strategy and operations
·  3+ years of Salesforce experience
