Role Summary

This is a Temporary position responsible for performing specialized duties in support of department operations, including ordering Customer Service Records (CSR’s), data entry of CSR’s, and Level 1 CSR exception resolutions including inside wire maintenance and voicemail cancellations.

 

Role Description   

·  Contact vendors through phone calling, email or through vendor websites for detailed CSR’s to build inventory database for clients using the CSR request software application (TechExcel).
·  Contact vendors as a result of CSR’s not received. Problem-solve and negotiate other options to build inventory if a CSR is not available.
·  Organize, prioritize, and use time management tools to ensure proper follow-up is completed.
·  Develop and maintain close working relationships with appropriate telecom vendor service representatives and national account managers.
·  Answer incoming calls from clients, and vendors. 
·  Data Entry of CSR’s.
·  Run basic reports from the BI or TechExcel to send to client or vendors.
·  Complete all e-mail and document correspondence to clients in a timely manner.
·  Prioritize workload to ensure contract deadlines are being met.
·  Performs other duties as assigned.
·  This is a Temporary position.

  Role Competencies  

·  Must have solid computer skills, including working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet. Strong multi-tasking skills.
·  Ability to read and interpret telecom customer service records.
·  Must be able to run created reports from the BI Tool.         
·  10-key by touch, preferred.
·  Strong skills in customer service, communication, problem solving and negotiation.   
·  Must be a team player who is detail oriented, dependable and adaptable. 
·  Must be flexible with schedule and available for overtime work as needed.
