ENGIE are recruiting for a Industrial Operative to be based in HEYSHAM 2 POWER STATION LA3 2XN . This is a permanent full-time role working 37 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, and benefits package.
Mon - Thurs 0800hrs - 1600hrs Fri - 0800hrs - 1530hrs


Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

To Provide industrial cleaning services (cleaning of floors, plant areas, fixtures and fittings) Additional duties include the provision of pumping services, leak management, forklift/tractor duties, banksmen duties and road sweeper operation. Driving, deliveries and porterage tasks will also be required at times. This may not be the extensive list of duties but training will be given for all duties.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

Industry Qualifications Required (dependant on operational requirements ;

·  Gas Cylinder Handling (desirable not mandatory)
·  IPAF (The International Powered Access Federation) training for use of MEWP's (desirable not mandatory)

·  Engie Company Induction
·  Engie Health and Safety (level one) including COSHH
·  Engie Manual Handling
·  EDF Energy - Safe Unescorted Access to Site (Site Specific)
·  EDF Energy - Rigging & Slinging
·  EDF Energy - Crane operation training (various dependant on operational requirements)
·  EDF Energy - Entry into Radiation and Contamination Controlled Areas
·  EDF Energy - Generic Dressing / Undressing for CCA
·  EDF Energy - Competent person E&M/ N&R (supervisors/chargehands)
·  EDF Energy - Fire watch training
·  EDF Energy - Confined Space Familiarisation
·  EDF Energy - Foreign Materials Exclusion Monitor / Guardian
·  EDF Energy – Bodily fluids / Biohazards (percentage of team)
·  EDF Energy – Safety Harness

There is also an expectation to undertake further training as requested in line with the clients and
