ENGIE are recruiting for a Gas & Heating Engineer to be based at The University Of Sheffield, Student Village, 14 Endcliffe Avenue, Sheffield, S10 3EA. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £30,000 - £32,505 per annum, dependent upon skills and experience as well as an excellent benefits package.

Main Duties / Responsibilities:

· 
Undertake heating/combustion & mechanical plant maintenance reactive repair works on a range of commercial and domestic systems across the accommodation portfolio.

· 
Ensure all issued works are completed within set time frames to ensure SLA's are achieved and client expectations are met.

· 
Undertake heating/combustion & mechanical plant Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) works, within set time frames to ensure statutory compliance.

· 
Proactively identify and undertake heating/combustion maintenance works (reactive works not yet identified by the client).

· 
Undertake heating/combustion improvement & Lifecycle works as required.

· 
Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant including basic electrical fault finding.

· 
Evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of all plant room equipment

· 
Provide on-call support for Heating & general maintenance reactive works as part of a team rota.

· 
Support the wider maintenance team with ad-hoc reactive & PPM works as required.

· 
Work in accordance with Work Instructions, Safe Working Practices and Method Statements ensuring relevant paperwork is completed in an accurate timely manner.

· 
Maintain stock, advising on requirements to ensure plant and system availability can be assured at all times.

· 
Maintain the cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops and storage areas.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

Minimum Experience

·  Proven track record within a similar role
Essential Qualifications

·  Recognised Mechanical / Electrical Trade Apprenticeship
·  ACS Commercial and Domestic Gas
·  Commercial Gas qualifications: CIGA1, COCN1, ICPN1, CBHP1, TCPA, TCP1A, TPCP1A
·  Domestic Gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT1, CPA1
·  A full driving licence is essential for this role
·  Experience of BMS systems
Desirable Experience

·  HVAC Control Systems
·  First Aid at Work
·  A basic electrical qualification eg. 18th edition IEE
·  Further gas qualifications: CORT1, CCCN1, COMCAT1,2,3
·  Previous experience of working in a PFI Environment
·  Legionella Awareness
·  Knowledge of the pressure system regulations (PSSR)
