Finance Mobile Acceleration Pool Project Coordinator (H/F)

Position based in Paris La Défense (IDF)

He/She will join the Finance Practice of ENGIE CONSULTING.

The Finance function deals with an increasingly complex environment. The market forces require Finance directions to act very quickly to tackle new challenges. On top of that, many Finance teams have been constraint and are fully occupied with their day-to-day tasks not allowing them to spend time on transformational projects.

The Mobile Acceleration Pool (MAP) will set up dedicated taskforces to deliver projects faster, while being freed up from static reporting lines. By doing so, it will contribute to demonstrate the intrinsic agility of the Finance function to better serve the business.

The MAP will be carried in a first phase in ENGIE Consulting within a “Finance Practice” serving first and foremost the Finance function needs

The MAP coordinator is in charge of the development of a delivery workforce and managing of a team; he/she is accountable for their successful delivery and continuous improvement in performance delivery. His/her main responsibilities are to:

• Collect project needs and feeds the projects' pipeline, select the most relevant projects against criteria and prioritize projects depending on both their relevance and the resources planning;

• Ensure the quality of projects' proposals and the alignment of projects with the Finance strategy defined in ELS;

• Coordinate all projects smoothly and efficiently, with a view to leverage on and reinforce internal knowledge and skills;

• Actively contribute to projects;

• Ensure regular lookback exercises, communicate on successful projects and lessons learnt within the Group;

• Manage the Mobile Acceleration Pool staff, including development plans for full time (core-team) and mission-based (extended team) MAP members with support of HR;

• Evaluate (with the Project Lead) the performance of all members who contributed on projects;

• Organize steering committees and ensure proper update of projects database.

Performance will be measured by:

• Total portfolio budget managed (man days), in a view to leverage on internal skills and resources

• Delivery/ Profitability of projects

• Satisfaction of internal clients

Travel in France are to be planned.

You will be in interfaces on internal with :

• Finance experts from Corporate, GBS and BUs

• BU CFOs, Head of Controlling and Head of Performance

• Projects teams within and beyond Finance function

• Engie Consulting

and any partners external involved in projects.

A Master's degree in Finance or engineer/ business administration with broad experience in finance is required. He/she is a senior professional with good knowledge of the Group's main activities and able to lead teams on the MAP projects that will be reporting to him / her either hierarchically, functionally or on a project-base. He/she has an experience of team management & people development. An international experience and a certification in Project Management or Lean will be appreciated.

He/she is well-connected within the Finance function and aware of the Finance Strategy defined in the 2019 Finance ELS and updated during Finance ELS 2020.

Eager to be an active contributor in the finance transformation and recognized for his/her influencing skills and natural leadership, he/she is results oriented and customer focused. He/ She is a team worker, has an agile mindset, is able to tackle opportunities and adjust plans to quickly changing landscape.
Fluency in English and French are required.
