Global Energy Management (GEM) is one of ENGIE's Business Units. Organization:

The GEM Communications Department designs, builds and promotes a consistent identity, image and reputation of the ENGIE brand and the Business Unit expertise both internally and externally. We support our BU's transformation plan and new business orientations by making GEM activities well known among our staff, within ENGIE and towards our stakeholders.

Context:

Given the thorough transformation engaged in GEM, and our intention to become a business enabler, we need a dynamic and entrepreneurial communication officer to participate to the event communication actions plan for both internal and external audiences, according to GEM's strategic priorities.

Role:

Within the Events team of the GEM Communications Department, your main mission will consist in organizing from start to finish the second GEM's Innovathon, an internal and external event, dedicated to innovation and sustainability that will take place early 2020. Your role on this project will consist in: • Managing the overall project over several months, and logistics • Collaborating closely with the team in charge of the project • Managing client relation when necessary • Settling and animating several ideation workshops • Managing the creation of a dedicated digital platform/app, • Defining and launching a communication action plan Your other activities and challenges: • Play an active role in the execution of our Events strategy and roadmap for the execution of both internal and external events to support business development, internal info sharing and positive client relations • Contribute to a staff event to develop sense of belonging • Organize cocktails and breakfast with clients in Paris and London (100 to 150 p.) and promote them internally and externally • Take part into the setting up of a community of experts and ambassadors • Partner with Sales teams and other internal stakeholders to develop and execute marketing strategies for each event • Developing communication on internal and external sponsorship initiatives

Travels:

Potential travels (Belgium and other European countries)

Education and professional background:

• Master Degree (Bac +5) in Communication • 5 years communication & event management experience • Background in energy or sustainable services

Hard skills:

• Demonstrated experience of gaining a rapid understanding of a business or organization and ability to engage in projects already underway • Confortable working in a fluid & highly collaborative environment with a strong ability to listen and adapt • Excellent verbal/written communication skills • Strategic communication planning and execution • Strong planner, macro & detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
