ENGIE are recruiting for a Business Intelligence Analyst to be based atthe Share Service Centre, Newcastle, NE12 8EX . This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is salary of £20,000 - £28,000 per annum dependent upon skills and experience aswell as an excellent benefits package.

This role supports the Head of Business Intelligence in the delivery of actionable insights to senior leaders in the Newcastle Shared Service Centre and to key business stakeholders at all levels.

The post holder will demonstrate expertise in the production of routine reporting; delivery of ad hoc data requests; support of continuous improvements in BI solutions.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

· 
Deliver routine reports to key stakeholders both in the Shared Service Centre and throughout the business to agreed SLAs and quality standards

· 
Respond to ad hoc queries ensuring that team outputs maintain high levels of quality and accuracy

· 
Support the development of self-serve and repeatable data solutions across all operational service teams

· 
Demonstrate high levels of engagement with end users and effectively document end user requirements

· 
Ensure adherence to team governance practices: data dictionaries; team process documentation; master data guidelines; best practice documentation

· 
Analyse data sources to identify key trends, opportunities for improvement and actionable insights

· 
Effectively communicate and present data findings to colleagues

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  Technical background with ability to pick up new systems rapidly
·  Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads
·  Experience interpreting and documenting customer requirements
·  Ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audience through verbal and written form
·  Demonstrates experience in readiness to learn new skills on own initiative
·  Creation of reporting or automated solutions is advantageous
·  Attention to detail
·  Demonstrate strong analytical skills
·  Aware of industry and professional standards (e.g. ISO 9001)
