The role:Account Services Analyst II - Retail Gas

 

Purpose

TheAccount ServicesAnalyst will be responsible for being a part of a team of individuals who will be responsible for the implementation into the gas markets for ENGIE Resources. This role requires daily dedication and involvement to ENGIE designated team of individuals who are responsible for the implementation of Retail Gas for ENGIE Resources. Activity involved will include but is not limited to application of knowledge of the Retail Gas industry, regulatory research, development of service model for care scripts for learning and testing of products and methods of delivery. The role is required is apply care & compliance knowledge to help build a foundation that supports and enforces company controls.

 

Analyst will manage all direct communication, processes and procedures institutionalized across the business for Retail Gas. The resolution for the internal sales and third-party customer inquiries once Gas has gone live, will be supported internally with this position as the subject matter expert within Account Services Group. The position requires reporting techniques as well to deliver information to upper management on statistics and tasks supported related to Retail Gas.

 

This position requires a self-motivated individual who can multi-task daily to meet key deliverables in a timely manner. The account services role may be joined with the electricity support role. Timely completion of routine tasks that affect contract pricing, financial reporting and data integrity are critical elements.

 

The analyst will work directly with our third-party vendors, brokers/partners both independently and in a team environment as needed, in order to provide best in class customer service for our internal and external customers.

Essential Job Functions

·  Respond within agreed upon service commitment to both internal and external customer(s) with resolution
·  Manage, deliver & process transaction based changes to existing customer legal contracts via systems of record
·  Create Retail Gas Reporting from various systems of records using excel, access or design reporting off supported systems in order to deliver care and support details to upper management.
·  Responsible for the research, ability to identify discrepancies between our internal data systems and external billing system in order to properly support the customer.
·  Maintain open lines of communication with designated sales representatives to properly communicate with the customer, broker/partner on products and services.
·  Manage Retail Gas transactional process related to existing ENGIE customers; such as additions, deletions, name changes, contract termination values etc.
·  Direct dedicated cross-functional support to internal departments, outsourced vendors to develop satisfactory end-to-end delivery procedures.
·  Assist account services management team on various projects such as but not limited to system enhancements, product development, market changes, updates to care/compliance processes or procedures, development of reporting, development of training materials.
·  Flexibility for testing is required as the business will be assigned multiple tasks and duties throughout the multiple stages of implementation.   

Requirements

·  Strong, extensive knowledge of retail gas operations, procedures, and regulatory standards.
·  Direct customer service, account management and customer care related experience is required.
·  Experience in producing data reports using applications such as power BI, excel, access, visio is required.
·  Self-motivated, quick and Independent thinker.
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
·  Detail oriented and strong follow-up skills.
·  High degree of reliability and strong work ethics. 
·  Productive and efficient, with ability to conduct work in a fast turn-around.
·  Ability to use multiple data systems.
·  Team player with ability to work well with others.
·  Advanced PC skills, including MS Office Suite.
·  Ability to meet highest attendance requirements.  
·  Complies with all ENGIE policies and procedures.
·  Carries out other duties as assigned.
·  Could involve lifting up to 20 lbs.

·  Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy.
·  Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.
·  Could involve some lifting.

 

Education/Experience

·  Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
·  2-5 years of business experience; preferably in the Retail Gas or Retail Electric
