Project Manager

Job description

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

- Development and implementation of product concepts and ideas from customers and marketing into executable project requirements.

- Establish, track and report of project plans through use of established Project Management Tools and use of best project
management practices (Schedules / resource plan / project tracking).

- Coordinate the development of technical product documentation required for project execution such as product
specification, technical specification, test plans, DFMEA, etc.

- Chair and report out all project meetings to include design reviews, check point reviews, weekly meeting as defined.

- Development and tracking of project expenses for projects assigned.

- Coordination with other departments such as model shop. Agency lab, CAD, Reliability, Consumer science for specific deliverables
as and when needed.

- Ensures the project development from OA till CP3.

- Ensure the timely preparation and execution of engineering project documentation (ECN’s BOMs, Drawing and Specifications).

- Demonstrate creative ability through continuous improvement.

- Interface and coordinate follow ups with Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, supply chain and outside
suppliers to ensure timely delivery of all project requirement / deliverables.

- Fully support company programs, policies and objectives.

Desired profile

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineer, Industrial Engineer or higher.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in new product development with demonstrated track record of launching successful and
innovative products.

- Ability to work independently and cooperatively with a large diverse cross functional group.

- Strong project management, communication and interpersonal skills leading cross functional project teams.

- Demonstrated ability as a problem solver and ability to determine root cause.

- Direct experience in Major appliance industry is a large plus.

- Knowledge of plastic, sheet metal design development is plus.

- Demonstrated PC proficiency is required (MS office Products / MS project).

- General knowledge of manufacturing and assembly methodology.

- Available for limited travel.

- Ableto identify critical issues for key stakeholders.

-  Project Management Certificate is a plus.

- Fluent in Thai and good English.
