POSITION DESCRIPTION:

PRICE & REVENUE CONTROLLER
The Price & Revenue Controller reports to the Price & Revenue Manager and would suit a graduate looking to pursue a career in a commercial or finance role. The role will be responsible for supporting the wider business with price setting and price management. Role requires a self-motivated individual and part of the role will require working with other functions within the organization including Sales Managers and Product Line teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business/Commercial support role (60%):
• Support the price list creation process and communicate price list to the trade on a timely basis, coordinating with Product Line and Sales
• Maintain the price simulation tool (‘price calculator’) on a daily basis to ensure that it can be used as the basis for commercial decisions
• Provide pricing analysis for rolling forecast process by customer, follow-up of pricing waterfall (actual vs target)

Pricing Controlling (30%):
• Follow-up commercial off invoice actions (accruals)
• In relationship with accounting team, monitor level and type of credit notes being raised and identifying process improvement opportunities, follow pricing dispute cases
• Carry out audit of our current practices to ensure policies are being adhered to

Technical (10%):
• Maintain discount structure in SAP for each customer
• In relationship with Pricing Assistant, ensure that customer prices and hierarchies are correctly and accurately maintained on the SAP system

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
• Business school graduate.
• Preferable first experience in business controlling or business analysis
• Strong communication skills – written & verbal
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent Excel skills. Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the business
• Strong team player
• Fluent English is mandatory
• Previous experience of SAP is desirable
