Transportation Planner

Delivering professional service of planning outgoing transportation of finished goods  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Manage Transport planning activities in an effective and cost efficient manner
• Solve problems in relation to pick-up, transport and delivery (in case of delays, difficulties etc)
• Closely cooperate with customers, Electrolux stakeholders and external suppliers Follow-up cost, complete analyses and maintain databases
• Organize single transports and managing offers and send Express consignments
• Secure operational reporting set up with a team
• Share knowledge and best practice with other parts of the organization
• Ensure that appropriate policies and procedures are in place and maintained, in line with business objectives and SLA’s

Desired profile

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Collage/Bsc or University/Msc degree (Economy, Transportation or Engineering preferred)
• Computer literacy- good knowledge of Trasport IT Systems ex OTM, SAP
• Min 1 year experience in Logistics Transport Planning Team preferably in international company

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
• Service and business oriented with a drive for results
• High communication skills and team orientation
• Highly self-organised, independent at work and effective problem solver
• Very good training skills
• Ability to work under time pressure
• Strong culture awareness and ability to work with different clutures

REQUIRED LANGUAGES:
• Fluent English is a must
