Internship environment :

Within the Financial Department of ENGIE's group, the Corporate, Finance Treasury and Insurance's Direction (DCFTA), is responsible for :
·  Funding and guarantee policies, liquidity and the group's treasury;
·  Consolidated measurement and second level control of the market and counterparty risks of the group;
·  Follow-up of the financial regulations, in particular the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR);
·  Bank relationships;
·  Follow-up and management of social liabilities and employee savings;
·  Insurance policy of the group;
·  Analysis and follow-up of the financial risks (commodities, FX, Interest Rates and Counterparties) of the investment projects of the group.

ENGIE's group is exposed to credit and counterparty risks, with a material impact on its financial trajectory, in particular on its working capital requirement and on the portfolio's management, due to risk mitigation mechanisms such as margin call.

Within the DCFTA, the department Credit & Liquidity Risk Control and Financial Regulation, is in charge of:
·  The risk analysis of the bank counterparties of the DCFTA;
·  The methodology of the internal rating model;
·  The second look on the credit risk assessment analysis realized by the several ENGIE's BUs;
·  BUs' support in the implementation of a credit risk mandate;
·  The control of the investment of the non-centralized cash;
·  The liquidity committee;
·  The compliance with financial regulations such as EMIR, MiFID II and IFRS 9 (Expected Credit Losses).

Missions :

As credit risks analyst, you will support BUs to assess the group financial vehicles and the credit quality of their clients and/or partners, and to find the relevant risk mitigating their activities. You will work closely with several actors, on various activities (renewable energies, utilities, chemicals, infrastructures, etc) from different geographical area.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
·  Perform the credit the assessment on behalf of BUs (corporate risk): writing qualitative and quantitative analysis, propose ratings based on the group's rating tool, external agencies (S&P and Moody's) and your professional experience;
·  Analyze the DCFTA's bank partners, follow-up derivative and cash investment exposures (MtM), follow-up of limits on the evolution of the market indicators (ratings, Market Cap, CDS), challenge the investment products which are proposed by the banks;
·  You will also be involved in various projects: sector analysis, country risk analysis, portfolio review, IFRS 9, assistance to team members.

Profil recherché

Requirements :

·  Student in Master 1 ou 2 in Economics/Finance/Bank, Business school, Science Po or equivalent.
·  First experience in financial analysis, audit or credit risk (corporate and bank);
·  Good English proficiency (other languages can be an asset);
·  Good knowledge of IFRS is a plus;
·  Curious and keen interest for the Energy sector;
·  Comfortable with team work;
