Primary Job Responsibilities

eBay Cloud team Manages eBay cloud environment (VMware, OpenStack, Kubernetes clusters, KVM, Storage, Traditional Network, Software Defined Networking, Image, baremetal virtual machine and etc.). We Identify & develop scripts and tools needed using various languages (Python, Java, Go, C, C++, shell, etc) for automating manual tasks in order to make cloud more efficient for entire eBay dev team.

Job Requirements

We are dedicate to work on Performance Tuning, Trouble Shooting, Incident Root Cause Analysis, In-time Service Recovery, Container based cluster build up of all Cloud components.

Do proactive monitoring on the health of UNIX and Compute Infrastructure and implement tools to report out system parameters.
Work in emergency situations related to downtimes, Application and system upgrades and critical incidents and 24x7 availability over phone and in person.
