Eaton's Innovation Center has an opening for a:
Software Engineer C/C++
Location: Prague, Roztoky, Czech Republic

In 2012 has been opened rapidly growing Eaton European Innovation Center (EEIC) in Prague.
With almost 100 employees we are a vibrant engineering and Innovation Center for electrical, vehicle, hydraulic, and aerospace applications for the region focus on businesses in Europe, Middle-East, & Africa .
Currently we are looking for the Software Engineer C/C++ who will be responsible for design and implementation of runtime and communication modules of Eaton HMI (human machine interface for industrial automation).
Essential Functions:
· Design and implementation of runtime of Eaton HMI (human machine interface, Windows Embedded based device)
· Design and implementation of software communication modules for Eaton HMI
· Writing engineering documentation of software products
· Work on maintenance of existing software products
· Co-operation with / support of test team, preparation of test strategies
· Providing 3rd level support
Qualifications:
· BSc / MSc Degree in Informatics / Cybernetics / Electrical engineering
· Excellent knowledge of C/C++
· Able and motivated to work in a complex software environment
· General knowledge of software development processes
· Fluent English
Preferred qualifications:
· Experience with embedded software engineering (preferably Windows CE)
· Knowledge of MS-Windows programming technologies and tools like MFC, MS Visual Studio
· Experience with software development for touch screen controlled devices (e.g. smart phones, HMIs)
· Good Knowledge of OOP technology
· Knowledge of automation technology, PLC
· Knowledge of industrial automation communication protocols (Profibus, ProfiNet, CAN, Modbus, etc…) beneficial

Desired profile
