The intern will be welcomed among the regional Merchandising team working on all categories (Fragrances, Make Up & Skincare) for Parfums Christian Dior Orient (PCDO). PCDO manages an area of 600 Point Of Sales amongst 33 countries & 24 agents in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and India.
WHAT WOULD YOU LEARN?
The trainee will work on :
1 - Management of Visual Merchandising for B and C category Counters
· VM recommendations for openings
· VM updates & Follow-up
2 - Development of 3 Axes Planograms
· According to the merchandising calendar and with the marketing department, development of planogram for fragrances, skincare and make-up: all POS configurations and markets
· Execution of planograms on Displayer / Illustrator and final approval from marketing department
· Communication to the markets
3 - Development of Visuals & Master-kits
· Check availability of the new visuals with brand + order master kit of new visuals from Paris
· Check with Marketing team if more visuals need to be developed (specific middle east visuals)
· Prepare dispatch files for all the markets
· Follow up with supplier and markets for reception and copies of color proof
· Produce guidelines with priority and secondary visuals, packshot or models, with or without logo and claims
· Submit reports on our visual strategy for Flagship counters.
4 - Follow up the development of Movies
· Updating the screen database for each counter openings
· Monthly order of the movie loops with Digitalli according to each country's trade plans, communication to the agents and follow-up
· Management and follow up of invoicing
5 - Development and follow up of local production for POS material
· Development and design of specific regional POSM following our assortment: make up grids, make up board, face bar, update of novelty outpost, glorifiers, mascara towers, frag and skincare linear tools etc
· Brief of 3 suppliers (design and technic details, materials....)
· Negotiation of quotations and deadlines
· Follow up the design, production and quality control
· Follow up the dispatch, delivery on the field and implementation
6 - Redaction of the Weekly Newsletter
· Download from Dior Info (corporate website) all relevant information/updates and share with the team every week through a PowerPoint presentation review
Profil recherché
Profil
· Visual Merchandising or business School student with passion to progress in the creative field
· A first experience in VM is essential
· Good knowledge of computer aided design packages Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and Microsoft Office
· Fluent English mandatory (both verbal and written)
· Curious, customer oriented and with good communications skills
This internship is for a period of 6 months (July 2018 – December 2018), and is based in Dubai.
