Application Support Analyst - Pickup and Delivery Domain

SUMMARY:
Express Operations Pickup and Delivery Domain supports applications which are responsible for E2E production, management and printing of labels which is essential for the tracking and routing of shipments.
The key services associated with this function are GCA, Global Label Service and Global Imaging Archive.
The employee will have to maintain control of the service support and enhance the current support levels.
The supported services require application specific knowledge and technical abilities to ensure continuous service availability levels are fully met and customer enquiries or service issues are resolved within SLA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as a single point of contact for business colleagues in Europe.
• A member of the PUD_SRT team.
• Fix day-to-day operational failures, identification of root-causes and problem management to improve several stability and availability of services.
• Ensure availability of systems for use and manage new country on-boarding, and deploy new application releases.

Desired profile

REQUIREMENTS:

• IT experience in a related environment
• Experience in Windows/UNIX/Linux environment
• Knowledge and understanding of Incident and Problem Management
• On-call support, rotation within the team
• Creative problem solving skills and an ability to work conceptually
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally
• Able to achieve results through influencing others
• Customers and end-users focused
• Time flexibility
