Le Métier

Your role is to welcome, listen to, and talk with our sporting customers to meet their expectations. You'll also win their loyalty by suggesting the in-store services and ensuring a friendly and efficient check-out service.

 

This will be the Main jobs you will be doing in the store.
·  Operating a computerised till system with a RFID scanner. 
·  Entering prices into the till system by scanning the items the customer has chosen.
·  Using special tools to remove security tags.
·  Packing purchases.
·  Processing store loyalty cards,  and vouchers.
·  Using the till to check the total cost of purchases and informing the customer.
·  Taking payment by cash, card or process deferred payments/cycles schemes
·  Using a chip and pin machine to process card payments.
·  Giving the customer change and a receipt.
·  Giving the customer any coupons or promotional items they are entitled to.
·  Answering customer queries.
·  Changing till rolls as required.
·  Keeping till areas clean and tidy.
·  Dealing with Online orders and returns.
·  Dealing with customer complaints.
·  Cashing up your till. 
·  Training for RFID scanner and cashing up process will be provided if successful
·  Be involved with a sport that you can provide knowledge on to benefit the customer.
·  Be able to promote store loyalty card with confidence after training 
·  Confidence in using a tannoy

As Customer Service Assistant you’ll be given complete autonomy to manage the customer service area including tills, management of Click & Collect and customer inquiries. You will also be the link between the store and the loyalty team to find quick solutions for customers.
