Le Métier

As part of the development of An international products range, the electronics division (Geonaute) of Decathlon Group (60,000 employees worldwide) strengthens its activity in design of sports and connected products (Activity monitors, GPS, Video, ...)

As an hardware engineer, in a multidisciplinary and international team (English imperative), you will participate in the specification and development of our products line from the pre-study phase to the start of production. With the technical project manager and product manager, you participate in pre-study work (risks evaluation, prototyping, technical validation, BOM cost estimation) and establish budget allocations.

In development phase you specify and validate the hardware architecture, consumptions, RF (GPS, BTLE), sensors. You write the hardware architecture specifications, MCU, BTLE, GPS, optimizing its construction to provide all the functions and services offered to athletes at the better price. Before the start of production, you test and qualify the product and validate production test benches.

Working with a international design houses, you build the components strategy (MCU, GPS; BTLE, 3A, 3A3M ...) in order to capitalize reference designs and optimize developments on all chain.

Profil recherché

Le Profil

Engineer or Master in Electronic Engineering, you have a minimum experience of 3 to 5 years in a similar position. You have acquired in an international industrial environment extensive technical background, you know components manufacturers products line (MCU 8 to 32-bit ARM mainly, GPS, BTLE, Sensors).

Sporty, enthusiast, your openness and your ability to synthesize allow you to adapt your communication to all colleagues. You justify a decision-making capacity and leadership to push the components at the heart of the strategy.
