As a Systems Engineer you will monitor technology, take part in examinations of general technical architecture, and how it develops. You will make recommendation on defining IT platforms.



What will your role be? 
Research and Development role

·  Serve as Subject Matter Expert
·  Help choose suppliers
Forward Planning

·  Monitors technology, and forecasts potential technological developments on system & storage
Implementation

·  Setup and configuration of Storage arrays environment (SAN & NAS environments);
·  Provisioning for new and existing environments
·  Engineer all new enterprise storage solutions as required, including disaster recovery architectures
·  Implement corporate personal IT work environments (Server & Station)
Support

·  Support Virtual Environments and Infrastructures in the Geo Data Center
·  Troubleshoot all storage & system issues
·  Carry out the initial installation then upgrades when necessary, ensure availability of systems infrastructure (in terms of space, for example), provide connections with the domain and provide maintenance
·  Ensure that systems infrastructure are in-service and available: (servers and workstations, hardware & software)
·  Provide a level 2 support: expertise in handling incidents reported by users
·  Maintain Accurate documentation of the storage environments; SAN Connectivity and LUN
·  Provide consulting about system & storage when necessary
·   



Your Key success Factors….

·  Certification in OS Technologies (Windows, Apple, Linux OS administration, Microsoft platform administration technologies, Virtualization technologies, Storage technologies NETAPP, EMC, Hitachi…)
·  Computer Systems Administrator - Storage expert
·  Conferred Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Information Technology, IT or MIS
·  3-7 years equivalent technical experience
·  Computer Systems, Operating Systems, Virtualization OS, Storage Systems, Customer Support
·  Work onsite at Dassault Systèmes San Diego CA office; no remote or off site
·  Ability to work independently and/or within a collaborative team structure
·  Highly organized with critical attention to details
·  Strong communication skills in two parts: 1.) very strong writing skills utilizing the rules of English grammar; 2.)  verbally clear, concise, and grammatically correct oral (speaking) communication skills in English
