Danone Canada is looking for a Transportation Manager - Danone Canada in Boucherville.

As transportation manager, you will be accountable for:

Mission: Your main objectives will be:

·  Define mid term transportation strategy to optimize cost and transport service.
·  Ensure supplier relationship animation and build continuous improvement strategy.
·  Animate transversally Logistic Clients Coordinator (LCC) on transport strategy execution
·  Ensure support to the Logistic Clients Coordinator in case of operational breakdowns
·  Be Key User on TMS
·  Making sure statements are up to date on all carriers

More specifically:

·  Define mid term transportation strategy of logistic budget
·  Transport supplier's portfolio
·  Co-Lead on RFP partnering with purchasing team
·  Ensure LCC autonomy on operational management for the entire scope and suppliers performance animation from daily to monthly
·  Support customer solution team in negotiation logistic allocations
·  Communicate transversally transport KPIs
·  Responsible of management and animation of the relationship with transport suppliers and their performance ($/t, on time delivery, claims management) with animation (daily, weekly and monthly)
·  Accountable of all costs linked to transportation
·  Accountable of the training and the knowledge level of TMS users
·  Responsible of productivity initiatives execution
·  Have a Super User role for Lean Logistics system: data entry, edition and modification of reports based on users needs, system upgrade
·  Analyze monthly with finance analyst, financial performance and confirm productivity
·  Replace temporarily warehouse manager

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and competencies:

·  Bachelor in Operations, Logistics, business or any relevant specialization
·  Minimum of 3 years experience in logistic in similar industry
·  Should master SAP; TMS and other tools and be able to share knowledge
·  Bilingual French/English, written and spoken
·  Communication and Ability to build strong relationships
·  Strong Customer sense
·  Strong analytical skills
·  Results oriented
·  Ability to work in a fast pace changing environment
·  Ability for problem solving and continuous improvement
