About the job

As a Production and Maintenance Engineer , you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of dairy production facilities. Your responsibilities will span both production processes and equipment maintenance.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency, quality, and safety

Your responsibilities will include ( but are not limited to ):

 

Production Process Optimization:

·  Monitor and analyze dairy production processes to identify areas for improvement.
·  Implement strategies to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain product quality.
·  Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulation

Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

·  Perform routine maintenance checks on dairy processing equipment (such as pasteurizers, homogenizers, and filling machines).
·  Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
·  Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule preventive maintenance tasks.

Quality Control and Assurance :

·  Conduct quality checks on dairy products at various stages of production.
·  Collaborate with quality control teams to address any deviations from standards.
·  Maintain accurate records related to quality assurance.

Inventory Management:

·  Manage spare parts inventory for dairy machinery.
·  Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of replacement parts.
·  Optimize inventory levels to balance cost and operational needs.

Safety and Compliance:

·  Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
·  Stay updated on industry regulations related to dairy production and maintenance.
·  Participate in safety audits and implement corrective actions.

Continuous Improvement:

·  Propose and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
·  Collaborate with R&D teams to introduce new technologies or equipment.

Training and Support:

·  Train production staff on equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices.
·  Provide technical support during equipment installation or upgrades.

To be successful in this role you will need to have  :

·  Engineering degree in Industrial, Energy Management, Electrical, Mechanical or process background
·  problem-solving mindset,
·  highly data-driven, and an analytical approach to work.
·  Proficient in English for both written and verbal communication.
·  Organized and detail-oriented with great interpersonal and agility skills
