Junior Finance Business Partner (Operations)

About the job

The Junior Finance Business Partner (Operations) is a member of the Alpro EU4 Finance Team, working with your colleagues predominantly in Belgium. Together with your manager, you add value by analyzing financial information and by providing advise based on your analysis. You use your financial insights to help and challenge the business in making decisions and for ad hoc analysis and projects which have a financial impact.

This role

In this role you will:

·  Drive the monthly closing process for the site manufacturing costs
·  Build quarterly bottom-up Rolling Forecast (RF) process with focus on reaching the necessary manufacturing productivities; incl. monthly updating the RF
·  Driving improvements in industrial performance of the site through analysis
·  Support the constant gathering of capital expenditures (capex) needs and make robust business cases
·  Perform daily operational tasks in Alpro-wide controlling processes
·  Assist in benchmarks between sites by providing information on your site and analyze differences with other benchmarked sites.
·  Support periodic audits by internal and external auditors, through providing the necessary documents. Assist in the development of remediation for recommendations for the site or Alpro as a whole.
·  Support the business with ad hoc requests, be the local touchpoint for insurance related matters, support in periodic audits & tax questions (taking local compliance into consideration) and investigate quality incidents or costs which might be claimed for reimbursement with suppliers. You are a key contributor to maintain high standards for internal control.

Experience & Profile:

To be successful in this role you will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) and have somerelevant operational finance experience, ideally in an FMCG Food & Drink context (not essential). During this time you will have developed a proven record in identifying areas of value. You will have shown your ability to use a proactive, solutions oriented mindset to make proposals and recommendations to deliver solutions to unlock this value.

You will be able to demonstrate a love for partnering the operational teams, with business acumen, and a courageous, bold approach. You’ll also be able to demonstrate some key skills including being a problem solver and critical thinker– with theability to build relationships quickly & establish trust both internally and externally.You will have a dynamic and resilient style with the ability to work independently but also as part of a team. You will need to be able to demonstrate a true growth mindset: you are open, eager to learn and to combine a wide variety of operational & strategic tasks.
