Before going into very detailed description of the positiong & global context in Danone Waters France business I would like to share the key point on the context for this position. Danone has amazing brands in its portfolio across all WWBUs with great equity behind and impressive activations done, but I believe that no one would doubt that evian has its specific unique place in Danone brands portfolio and is one of the strongest assets of the company. As we say in the evian team across countries, it's a diamond that we are honored to have and handle. It couldn't be more true especially in France where the brand was born and raised - it's an icon for us and for consumers. Marketing department in DEF (Danone Eaux France) is responsible for defining the strategies for the brands we have as our assets in the categories we play in based on profound understanding of consumers & shoppers and their needs. This is done through constant market & consumers analysis, development of portfolio vision, innovations & renovations and working out of categories/brands activation - all in close collaboration with other functions of the company.
Today marketing team in DEF is built from the category standpoint with 4 key directions: plain water, aquadrinks, sparkling and kids business across categories. This allow us as an activation CBU to be more relevant & address better consumers' needs as well as be more efficient in the relations with the clients.
For plain team the category approach is built based on 2 priority objectives: 1/ drive portfolio valorisation, 2/ boost DEF plain business thanks to portfolio approach & brand complementarity. There's a dedicated team for each of the directions and the scope is build based on the objective meaning the teams are not linked purely to the brand but work from a category standpoint.
From the business standpoint plain represents 68% of DEF volumes & 58% of Net Sales making it an inevitable part of the portfolio. With this in mind, a clear ambition is set for the category for 2020 to become an indisputed value driver of plain water category in France. In order to achieve the ambition we've built a strategy which implies some key transformational projects for DEF as well as global EVW (Evian Volvic World). The key role of the Junior Brand Manager will be to lead part of this transformational projects to achieve the ambition.
Your mission:
Ensure DANONE plain business superiority in the market through:
* Evian brand activation (trust me, the plan is as exciting as never, the only battle is to make it even more exciting)
* Portfolio valorisation (reno, inno, channels, targets) - we don't stop only on activation but have a pipeline of great inno/reno projects to valorise our plain business portfolio (not only on evian but as well on Volvic)
With the following key projects:
- COMMUNICATION/ACTIVATION:
EVIAN brand lead
HORECA development lead
- PORTFOLIO:
INNO/RENO projects development & activation - already launched & to be launched
Specific AFH range (glass, Prestige, drop)
Your profile:
At least one JBM experience with the following requirements:
Level 0, the most important one - have the passion & desire to bring contribution, go further than seems possible, be open to anything that might appear and consider any breakdown as an opportunity, never stop & give up in front of barriers, be inspired & inspire and do it all together with the team as it's the team that wins in the end.
1. Core Professional requirements
• Experience in leading brand activation campaigns including understanding of different media & activation mechanics
• Excellent project leadership
• Strong analytical skills & profound knowledge in marketing fundamentals
• Sufficient knowledge on topline & finance functioning
• Experience in people management (at least a stagiare in direct report)
2. Soft skills:
• Leadership
• Open for everything new
• Result-oriented
• Ability to efficiently work from idea generation to its full implementation
• Team player and collaborative
You have at least 3 years of experience; this position is not opened to young graduates.
