The Denver Specialty Full Line Territory Manager will build key Business Relationships, Professionally Represent Nutricia North America's Products and Values throughout the Denver Territory, and Drive Sales of the Specialty Pediatric Care Brands In Multiple Call Points.

Objectives of the role Required 1. Develop territory sales and meet sales objectives for the Denver Territory (70%)
• Builds partnerships with key customers and key centres.
• Consultative selling and promotion of products within customer segments in assigned territory through communicating with medical practitioners, dieticians', nurses, hospital purchasing agents/materials management.
• Plans and conducts programs and activities (in-services, continuing health education programs, regional meetings, etc...) that will drive growth of brands and products in territory.
• Attends industry trade shows when beneficial for territory

2. Account management (10%)
• Identifies opportunities in their accounts that require multifunctional team approach and works with the team to set an objective that will drive sales
• Serves as main point of contact for their account
• Uses company resources appropriately to move towards achievement of set goal(s) for the account

3. Business Planning and territory management (10%)
• Develops an Annual Business Plan for Territory, focusing on business planning steps within span of control, as well as needs from cross-functional partners.
• Ability to effectively work and drive sales in a multi-state territory: AZ, NM, NV.
• Provides analytic insight to territory data, issues, and opportunities, utilizing all available company resources.
• Manages annual budget for territory activities and programs
• Reports new product ideas/suggestion, market trends and competition.

4. Administration (10%)
• Utilizes Nutricia's Sales Force Automation tool to document all contacts.
• Sends monthly report to manager about territory business update
• Completes and submits Expense Reports monthly.
• Manages sample requests and budget
• Participates in monthly team teleconference to report on overall territory status and provide feedback
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
• Superior communication skills: ability to convey concepts and information, orally and in writing; effective conducting persuasive presentations.
• Excellent listening skills: seeks input and feedback.
• Superior selling skills: consultative selling skills geared towards specialised health care providers in and affiliated with:
o Hospital Settings - NICU, PICU, Materials Management, Pharmacy
o Private Practice
o Specialized Pediatric Care Centers
• Interpersonal skills: an individual who develops effective rapport and working relationships with customers and the sales team.
• Good analytical skills: a focused thinker able to interpret market research, sales, volume and consumption data.
• Highly efficient time management capabilities: ability to set priorities, and efficiently perform responsibilities.
• Sound judgment and recommendations.
• Possesses well-developed thought, processes and ability to support decisions.

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• Register Dietician (RD), Licensed Dietician (LD) or Register Nurse (RN) preferred.
• 5+ years (one full fiscal annual cycle) of sales experience on the pharmaceutical, nutrition and/or medical equipment industry.
• 2+ years of hospital and/or account base selling
• Nutrition and/or clinical experience preferred
