We're a team of growth specialists that sit within the centralised product team. Working across the whole product, we're responsible for optimising the product through data & experimentation as well as creating a closeness with our users to generate engagement, activation & retention. We're looking for a core developer who will work hand-in-hand with us to help us grow and know our user base cross platform.


Projects to work on include:

* Delivering intelligent & personalised action-based or recommendation campaigns via Email / Push Notifications / In App -we want to drive maximum engagement with the platform by sending relevant, timely and personalised messages to our users. This involves determiningwhat the user finds engaging, and how best to deliver it (building the intelligence arounduser actions and getting that information into our campaign framework)

* Analytics -developing and maintaining workers between the data warehouse and our preferred analytics tool -helping to provide reliable data to the team.

* Internationalization -Help Dailymotion be trulyinternational by managing and improving the translation framework and building an intelligent localisation logic into our platform.

* Creating viral loops -Help users discover and share Dailymotion through social platforms -optimising our social media plug-ins, testing and integrating new social/communication channels (eg bots)

Profil recherché

* You can demonstrate mastery of PHP and Python (or similar)
* HTML, C SS, Twig or similar templating languages experience would be appreciated
* You are comfortable with complex architecture (2000+ object classes, 300K code lines, 400 SQL tables)
* You are able to differentiate SQL and NoSQL. MongoDB knowledge is mandatory
* You can demonstrate knowledge of web tools (Apache, nginx, git, etc.)
* You have Linux Experience (user)
* You have experience with SaaS and API integration
* You have experience with SCRUM methodology
* You have experience working with revision control systems like git
