The Context
· Criteo completed an Initial Public Offering on NASDAQ in October 2013
· The Investor Relations function reports to the Chief Financial Officer, in charge of Finance, Legal & IT
· The IR Analyst supports the IR Team, comprised of the Head of IR, based in Paris, and the IR Senior Manager, based in New York. Occasional support of the Corporate Development team may also be required.
The Mission
This is a 6 month internship starting on the 15th of June. The overall objective is to provide value-added support to the IR Team, along 3 main types of tasks:
· Market Intelligence: Conduct extensive market and competitive intelligence as well as benchmarking analysis on Criteo’s public and private partners and peers
· Financial Analysis: Maintain sell-side analysts’ consensus and perform ad-hoc financial analysis assignments, including valuation-multiples analysis, on Criteo and a defined peer group of public companies
· Logistical support: Provide logistical support to the team, including publication of press releases, maintenance of Criteo’s IR website, and support for investor roadshows and broker conferences in Europe and North America Other important tasks include:
· Prepare reporting documents for internal stakeholders (Senior management, Board of Directors)
· Liaise with various internal teams (FP&A, Business Intelligence and Finance Corporate) to maintain a comprehensive set of internal financial and operating KPIs
· Maintain internal database on institutional investors and help the team target relevant new investors in key financial centers across Europe and North America
· Perform additional IR projects or assignments that may be required on an ad-hoc basis
Profile
· Final year student in a leading business school (HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, EM Lyon, Science-Po, Dauphine)
· At least one successful six-month prior experience in management consulting, sell-side equity research, investment banking or equity capital markets
· Hands-on approach in conducting assignments while demonstrating strategic thinking
· Autonomy, proactivity, and strong service-orientation
· Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
· Fluency in English is required
· Superior interpersonal skills, strong engagement and commitment
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Very high integrity and work ethics
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
· Basic proficiency in using financial databases (Bloomberg, Thomson One/First Call or equivalent)
· Familiar with IFRS financial reporting
· Personal interest in US equity capital markets
· Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
· Awareness of French and US corporate governance frameworks is a plus
· Strong personal interest in Technology, Internet and e-commerce preferred
