Accounts Payable Processing Clerk

The job is based in our offices in Paris

Responsibilities :

As Accounts Payable Processing Clerk in our Shared Service Centre, you will be responsible for processing and paying our suppliers in a reliable timely manner.
You will report to the Accounts Payable Operational Team Leader who will determine the tasks to be performed and defined with you your weekly agenda.

The job evolves in an international SOX compliant environment.

Your tasks will include:

·  Invoice processing :
·  Processing invoices in a timely manner.
·  Ensuring the accuracy of the GL accounts and cost centers.
·  Ensure that payment terms and bank details are correctly set up (by the Vendor Master Team) and flagging areas for correction
·  Educating suppliers by returning any non-conform invoice and providing the necessary information for them to follow the correct procedure.
·  Communication with the Purchasing Centre as required to clarify position on Purchase Orders and approvals.

·  Invoice payment :
·  Prepare payment proposals on a timely manner and according to the Treasury calendar
·  Ensuring that all suppliers are paid on time as per agreed payment terms
Your Profile :

·  Minimum Two Years practical accounting experience in a similar environment
·  Experience of working in a SOX Environment
·  Good working knowledge of SAP (FBL1N / F110) & Readsoft
·  Experience of working in a fast moving, complex international environment
·  Good knowledge of English – any other languages a plus
·  Highly organized and autonomous
·  Excellent communication skills
