Job description

Management & Business Information Solutions is looking for an experienced Business Information Analyst. You will lead and take part in Business Intelligence, Reporting and Front Business Process Improvement projects for the Swiss Universal Bank and International Wealth Management divisions. The main responsibility will be the co ordination of application design and implementation together with our IT partner.

Main tasks:

· Gathering and analyzing business needs as basis for implementation projects
· Delivering business requirement specifications for banking business processes or business functionalities
· Supporting IT requirements engineers in the implementation concept design
· Coordinating and supporting local IT in the development of reporting and front solutions
· Ensuring on-time implementation and the quality of delivered systems
· Providing and running business acceptance test scenarios for quality assurance of developed solutions
· Ensuring sustainable know-how transfer from Switzerland
· Produce high quality documentation related to solution design, operations, governance and end-users

Desired profile

·  University degree in Business Administration, Finance or Information Technology
·  Banking, Management Accounting or Financial Accounting background preferred
·  At least 3 years of experience in business projects with IT impact (business intelligence, reporting and/or process-driven transactional applications preferable)
·  Project management skills and expertise in the area of requirement specification and business application testing
·  Good knowledge of SQL (Oracle, Microsoft SQL), MDX query language is an asset
·  A very good command of written and spoken English; knowledge of German is an asset
·  Analytic thinking and a conceptual approach
·  Good interpersonal skills and effective management of different cultures
·  An initiative-taking personality exhibiting drive and results orientation with proactive problem-solving approach
