Job description

Credit Suisse Legal Entity Finance is responsible for custody of local books and records according to Local GAAP / US GAAP of Credit Suisse (Poland) and CSSEL Warsaw Branch. Established in July 2007, BDC Wroclaw is already Credit Suisse's one of the largest offices in the EMEA region, therefore the financial accounting position offers you the opportunity to develop your skills and experience not only within the area of local regulations, but also in the global ones. Currently we are looking for high-reaching and skilled individuals with accounting knowledge and solid technical profile to apply for the position of an Accountant.

You will be responsible for a growing variety of tasks:

· Invoice processing, balance sheet reconciliation, intercompany reconciliation
· Bookkeeping and backup of bank statements
· Fixed assets registration
· Preparation of the regulatory reports
· Taking care of integrity of local and global general ledger and account ownership process
· Ensuring compliance with Local GAAP / US GAAP
· Supporting tax related processes in collaboration with local Tax Manager
· Ad hoc analysis and calculations
· Delivering high quality responses to information requests in a time pressured environment
· Providing support in the process of improvement of the current accounting processes
· Management of relationships with divisions, other functions and partners

Desired profile

You should have the following experience and skills:

·  You hold an university degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
·  You have 2-3+ years of accounting experience or similar
·  You have good command of English
·  You are a committed player who meets tight reporting deadlines and is eager to learn
·  You have a proven time management, work prioritization and analytical skill set
·  You possess very good MS Office skills (especially practical Excel knowledge)
·  It would be beneficial if you had knowledge about SUN system, PeopleSoft or MyShop
·  You have a positive attitude towards problem solving and dealing with urgent inquiries
