Missions

The department Securities Funds Administration carries out back office activities outsourced by its clients (Asset Managers as well as Depositary Banks) such as Fund Accounting, Securities Pricing, Regulatory- and Client Reporting, Investment Compliance and Tax Services.

The holder of the position will learn und understand how the various asset classes bought and sold by an investment fund (e.g. securities, bonds, fx forwards, listed futures and options, OTC products like credit default swaps, corporate actions) are to be accounted and how they influence the net asset value of the fund.

Besides a financial products know how, the VIE will learn and understand the nature of the various financial products and will investigate on a detailed level discrepancies between the client's and CACEIS's results.

Furthermore, the holder of the position will gather in-depth knowledge and experience in hands-on Fund Accounting as well as Securities Pricing. In addition, the candidate will have the opportunity to gain insights in the related fields of Regulatory- and Client Reporting, Investment Compliance and Tax Services.

 

Your main missions as VIE - Fund Accountant will be:

 

·  Booking securities-, futures/options, foreign exchange forward contracts, over the counter derivatives and cash transactions
·  Net Asset Value preparation and verification vs. management company figures
·  Reconciling positions and cash provided by the management companies vs CACEIS fund accounting systems
·  Clarifying discrepancies with the management companies, internal departments and CACEIS entities in France and Luxembourg
·  Supporting the Securities Pricing area in its daily duties
·  Supporting internal projects
