Overview
The Press Operator along with Plant 1 Press Lead or Shift Supervisor make up the normal two man crew required to operate the presses that vulcanize the uncured rubber coated fabric, in a timed heat pressure cure, to produce conveyor belting.
Core Responsibilities
This Operator must always follow the safety procedures for the press operation and sure all the press and tooling safety devices are properly used.
The Operator must follow all the production schedule instructions, the proper press operational procedures and the production order Bill of Material requirements.
Any operator must have the ability to read measuring tools, drive a fork lift and complete all the rquired paperwork.

High School Degree
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a machine operator opening in an manufacturing environment
Ability to read blue prints
Ability to operate fork lifts
