The Security of electronic control unit in an always more connected world is becoming a keypoint in growing business. For this opportunity, we are looking for 2 Cyber Security Engineers. During your VIE program you will serve our development projects with your cybersecurity expertise. On top of that you will gain an insight on the challenges and activities of cybersecurity in Automotive. Be part of international, motivated team and contribute to the success of our projects. Your initiative will define the amount of your responsibility in the projects. Following a VIE period, you will have best pre-requisites to become a member of a team of Security Specialists supporting the HW and SW development for Continental Automotive France (based in Toulouse).
The Development of Security / Privacy solutions around electronic control units and the associated interfaces and networks in the vehicle and back-end systems are an essential pre-requisite for attractive applications in the field of highly automated driving, Car2Car communication and the in-vehicle network.
Missions:
In such a highly connected context, you will participate to the definition of a secure solution, from the architecture level down to the development of the Security mechanisms.
Your duties include the analysis of the customer requirements, of the system constraints, of the Threats/Risks. You will contribute to the definition of security requirements for the projects and to the development of cyber-security building blocks. This may include the design and development of prototypes of these solutions and the implementation of security tests.
Key Tasks:
- Secure hardware, software, protocols, architecture
- Evaluation of existing hardware and software concepts with regard to the security aspects
- Technical feasibility studies regards Security and Privacy
- Definition of appropriate tests to verify Security and Privacy
- Advice on security in software and hardware to support projects in development
> Cryptographic advice
Performance of Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments
Profil:
You have knowledge in the field of security and ideally practical experience in the implementation of concepts
Education:
- Engineer diploma, master graduate in computer science or equivalent
- a first professional experience in the implementation of security projects is an asset
- Knowledge in Embedded software development
- Knowledge in Cryptographic Protocols & Hardware
- Knowledge of the Security standards and methods
- Very Good knowledge of English
