Poste et missions:
We are looking for a young graduate who would like to be a Volunteer for International Experience for one year and undertake a professional mission abroad with a special status provided under the auspices of the French Embassy (French VIE contract). This contract can only be renewable once. You will be joining Cognizant in Chennai and work for one of our French clients in automotive industry.
Job description:
The Agile coach will be responsible for coaching and mentoring agile delivery teams in India and Europe, to achieve organizational transformation towards Agile/DevOps. The Agile Coach should be comfortable working with teams and leadership to utilize Agile & DevOps as strategic assets for lasting culture changes and business value generation.
More specifically, the coach will:
Promote and facilitate the adoption of Agility within teams through team coaching, one-on-one mentoring, and delivery of Agile training classes, workshops, and briefings.
Assist Agile teams in acquiring the necessary skills to rapidly become self-sufficient and benefit from Agile approaches. Define and manage project scope, goals and deliverables.
Support the start-up of projects, give advice to improve the application of Agile delivery methods (Kanban, Scrum, XP, etc) throughout projects, and institute best practices.
Support the creation of squads, pair programming and other development practices needed to enable teams to develop the right software to support the needs of our customers quickly and effectively.
Job skillset:
Familiar with multiple Agile delivery methods including Scrum, Kanban, Agile@Scale, Extreme Programming, and Lean.
Deep understanding of agile techniques, principles, processes and tools.
Possess facilitation skills in leading planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.
Have a ‘continual improvement' mindset and be continually growing the craft, learning new tools and techniques

People from Engineering schools will be a perfect fit.
Candidates with previous relevant international experience will be preferred as this position will require a steep learning curve that requires a good cultural awareness.
