The Senior Java Developer is an expert with excellent knowledge of Java EE (EJB, JPA, Hibernate, GWT) and/or Spring who would be responsible for conducting, leading and coordinating software development activities throughout the project in field of security.

Your missions:
- Defining and ensuring the best solution architecture and design in working with the development team and the Project Manager
- Guarantying the technical quality of the solution in the respect of quality, time and cost of the project and acts as a point of technical escalation and resolution during the project lifecycle
- Managing developers in the projects to ensure that software development best practices are followed, as well as those defined in the various document plans. It mainly addresses unit tests, Builds, sources control, documentation.
- Creating strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning
- Assisting the Project Manager during the pre-sales phase and throughout the project with scoping, requirements, identification of project deliverables, and creation of project-specific documentation such as functional specifications, technical specifications, etc.
- Creating and maintaining an internal project plan and monitoring the actual versus Estimate to Completion

Profile:
- University graduate (Bc.) in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Very good English
- At least 3 years of experience in Java Software Development
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Technical Leader
- Strong technical background, strong leadership skills
- Excellent knowledge of Java EE (EJB, JPA, Hibernate, GWT) and/or Spring
- Experience with OOD and OOP and life cycle of the project, knowledge of UML
- Experience with using Application Servers (Tomcat, Websphere, JBoss...)
- Good knowledge of databases - SQL (MS SQL, MySQL), Oracle (PL/SQL)
- Knowledge of Web technologies (HTTP, HTML, XML, JSP/Servlet, JavaScript, SOAP)
- Willingness to travel for workshops, integration, and deployment in customer premises (time spent abroad up to 30%)

It would be an advantage:
- Working knowledge of second programming language C# (C/C++, Python...)
- Basic knowledge of cryptography (symmetric, asymmetric, PKI ...)
- Knowledge on a smart card, smart card personalization, smart card usage, PC/SC

Contract:
VIE, 12 months renewable once
