Tenable Security Engineer

Position Description
• Work for one of the largest IT consultancies in the world
• Immediate start available.
• 2-month contract with the view of a longer-term commitment

New requirement for a Security Engineer to review and analyse the current configuration of an existing Tenable.SC solution, to identify possible improvements in the tool and correct the configuration where required.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Implement, deploy and support Nessus scan engines and Tenable Security Center Continuous (TSC)
• Maintain local and network credentials TCS and provisions access to vulnerability scanning systems
• Integrate Nessus and TSC with other security and IT systems management tools such as Splunk
• Develop and maintain standard processes and operating procedures
• Create technical architecture diagrams and system build documentation
• Work with vulnerability management teams to build asset repositories and asset scan policies.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Experience in the implementation, deployment, integration and support of Nessus and TSC
• Tenable certification preferred
• A strong communicator with the ability to build business relationships at all levels
• Excellent documentation skills
• The ability to work autonomously and proactively
• Full work rights for Australia
• The role will require onsite client work in Melbourne CBD.
