Your future duties and responsibilities

• Lead and participate knowledge transition of testing service activities for a group of applications

• Collaborate with client team to collect, create, present, maintain, and store knowledge assets

• Act as a test subject matter expert for a particular solution, functional area, or application

• Perform requirements analysis and quality risk analysis

• Develop or assist in developing strategic/tactical testing deliverables

• Identify, develop, and document test conditions/scenarios and traceability matrix(ces)

• Perform test analysis and design

• Identify and prepare test data

• Assign tasks and assignments to test team members

• Monitor and manage completion of assigned testing scope and deliverables

• Ensure quality processes are followed

• Execute testing cycle activities as defined in the test plan

• Identify, log, and follow-up on all defects encountered

• Perform additional system testing-related activities, as required

• Communicate progress of testing activities to the Test Manager or directly to client stakeholders

• Produce “client-facing” and “CGI-internal” status reports, as required

• Participate in lessons learned reviews

• Participate in pertinent team training activities

• Maintain solid understanding of software testing best practices, methodologies and terminology

• Act as a mentor for test team members and provide performance feedback

• Complete end of assignment and performance reviews

Required Level of Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and/or Business ... or...

• Diploma in IT and/or Business with equivalent IT experience

• Industry recognized testing certification(s)

Must Have Skills and Experience

• Minimum 7+ yrs working in Software Testing, Quality Assurance

• Minimum 5+ yrs working in progressive Business/IT Sector

• Minimum 2+ yrs testing web applications and web technologies

• Minimum 2+ yrs leading test teams

• Minimum 2+ yrs of knowledge transfer work experience

• Minimum 4+ yrs working with HP ALM and/or Quality Center

• Minimum 5+ yrs working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Minimum 3+ yrs experience with VB Script and other scripting languages (e.g. VBA, JavaScript, etc.)

• Experience testing web-based client/server solutions
