Sr Consultant - Mean Technical Consultant

Position Description
Development using MEAN stack to automate storage devices to enable private cloud capabilities.

This role can be housed in a CGI office with some travel to the Great Lakes periodically.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Write web application code following best practices of quality, usability and instrumentation.
Partner closely with SMEs to craft great product experiences.
Deliver code in an agile team environment.
Assist with application deployments in our Cloud environment.
Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Minimum 2 years of MEAN Stack Development experience
Developer with overall 5+ years of software development
Degree in Computer Science or similar relevant field
In depth knowledge of NodeJS, ExpressJS or Restify
Experience implementing applications using Angular
Experience creating front end applications using HTML5, Angular, Bootstrap
Hands on experience with JavaScript Development on both client and server-side
Following will be considered as an advantage:
Experience with cloud orchestration/ automation
Creating secure RESTful-based web services in XML and JSON, Javascript, JQuery
Continuous integration (Jenkins/Docker) and version control (SVN, Git)
Proficient following Scrum methodology
