ServiceNow Developer
Position Description
As our ServiceNow Developer, you’ll design, develop, and implement applications using general languages and technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, REST and SOAP) to support business requirements on the ServiceNow platform, working on key projects and initiatives.
Your future duties and responsibilities
ITSM, ITOM, SecOps modules of ServiceNow (including Service Portal, Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Event Management, CMDB, Asset Management, etc.)
Writing, testing, and debugging common script types including: Client Scripts, UI Policies, Business Rules, and Script Includes, using JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS and Jelly as required
Creating and modifying workflows using Flow Designer and Workflow editor
Working on integration of other tools with ServiceNow using APIs, REST, SOAP, workflows, OOTB integrations, etc
Deep knowledge of ServiceNow best practices and demonstrated understanding of ITIL processes, operations and procedures.
Troubleshooting production and test issues; performing root cause analysis, recommending corrective action and performing resolution efforts
Assuring quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area.
Adapting to change quickly and adjusting work accordingly in a positive manner.
Being flexible and thriving in an evolving environment.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required.
You have 3 - 5 years of demonstrated hands-on experience in ServiceNow Development
You have 3-4 years experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, REST and SOAP Integrations
You have development experience in JavaScript and Service Now.
You have hands-on experience in the demand management module of ServiceNow.
You have hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large scale projects from end-to-end.
You are a ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
You are a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, Service Mapping, Discovery, Event Management or Software Asset Management)
You have ITIL Foundation certification or training
You have experience with Agile and Waterfall in a large organization
You are keen at problem-solving, excellent at communicating (both written and oral) and have strong interpersonal skills
You have experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
You are proactive and take initiative to make decisions, identify and recommend improvements when required
