Reporting Analytics Developer

Position Description
CGI Federal is seeking a Reporting Analytics Developer to support a dynamic IT environment leveraging emerging and evolving technologies to advance hardware, programming languages, and software efficiencies. Specific activities include providing services to operate, maintain, and enhance information delivery products and tools to include an Enterprise Data Warehouse and associated data marts. The ideal candidate possesses strong Agile development methodology experience and competencies in technology solutions to include Oracle, SAP, Power BI, DataStax, .Net, Angular, and Tableau.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Develop Power BI dashboards, reports and interface based on defined requirements
• Prepare and present client communication materials including written analyses, documentation, status reports, and presentations.
• Ability to present complex topics to key stakeholders, business analysts and senior executives.
• Manage client relationships and expectations, and ensure client satisfaction with all deliverables, while driving continual improvements.
• Work on multiple Power BI projects at once, driving efforts forward and managing and prioritizing time and workload appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
• Interact professionally and patiently with client personnel.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Extensive experience with Power BI, M, and DAX functions for developing dashboards
• Hands on experience in Power BI Service & Power BI Desktop. Expertise and proven experience in development of reports, dashboards, KPI scorecards, aggregating data from multiple sources
• Experience in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and SQL databases and SQL statements
• Understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworks, etc.
• Experience with MS Azure frameworks, Azure Data Factory, Apache Atlas, Apache Spark is a big plus.
