Python Developer

Position Description
CGI has an immediate need for a Full Stack Java and Python developer with 6+ years of experience to join our Banking Group in Pittsburgh, PA.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Technical expertise in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software.
• Ensures that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.
• Communicating with offshore team, stakeholders and QA Team
• Experience working in Agile methodologies

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Python development.
• Java Development experience
• Hands on experience in web applications
• Hands on experience in Web Services (Soap or Restful)
• Experience with developer tools such as Git, SVN and Maven
• Good understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Knowledge in UNIX/Linux
• Strong written and communication skills
• Experience in the banking domain highly desired

Tech Stack:
• Core Java – 5+ years
• Web Services – 3+ years
• Python – 3+ years
• Oracle/SQL Server DB – 2+ years

Education: BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related IT field or equivalent combination of experience and education
