Position Description
CGI's Insurance Practice is growing as we assist our Clients in their Digital Transformations. We have immediate needs for skilled Developers with proven competency in development activities utilizing the MERN Stack.

Your future duties and responsibilities
You will be initially working on Digital Transformation project from an existing mainframe platform. Participating on a team in the development and integration of an Insurance Broker Portal integration project, the role will encompass design, analysis, coding, configuring, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documentation, application health monitoring/alerting, and implementation of programs.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
A minimum of 3+ years of programming/development experience preferred.
Strong proven experience and advance knowledge in Java Script, Node.js and React, CSS, Java script, JQuery, HTML, Node and React, TDD, SQL, Lean Agile /Kanban/SAFe
Experience working in lean agile start up type environment.
Ready to be fully functional member of self driven / motivated team to ensure every release adds value to business.
Experience in pair programming - TDD and BDD is an advantage.
Development expertise in the Front end and Back end of complex, responsive web application in node.js, React and express.
