Junior Analyst for our unique payments solution

Job Description
We are in search of a new member for the role of Analyst eager to interact with our clients as well as internal experts participating in the development of innovative payments solutions to address global market requirements and client-specific demands.

In our team, you will be working on a number of projects worldwide bringing our solution for clients in the banking and payments area as a product customized and implemented on the client-side. Your role will require communication and interaction with client representatives, internal business experts, close cooperation with developers as well as testers to ensure that requirements are well understood, the right solution is designed and delivered to the clients.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Getting familiar with payment processing business domain
• Learning respective technical industry standards used in various countries and markets
• Gathering and assessment of customer requirements
• Compose/update functional specifications
• Design of functional and integration changes/extensions
• Produce various internal and technical documentation artifacts, including automated/scripted reports from databases
• Organize and lead meetings both external and internal
• Cooperation with colleagues working on the other parts of the project lifecycle (e.g. development, testing)
• Direct communication with customers
• Continuous experience and responsibility growth

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• SQL – understanding the code, ability to write SQL queries (joins, analytical functions, DB views, sub-queries, WITH clause)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, including basic VBA and practical experience with writing and using Excel for database-based reporting
• Familiarity with application architecture, integration patterns
• Knowledge of data modeling and basic UML Modeling (class model, state machine, activity diagram, use-case diagram)
• Very good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Good presentation skills
• Ability to flexibly work in an international, globally distributed team
• Systematic approach to problem-solving and documentation of concepts, designs, and configuration artifacts
