Position Description
Position Summary:
CGI Federal is seeking a Tech Analyst Network Installation position to work in our Colorado Springs, CO location. The successful candidate will provide support to SPAWAR SSC-PAC for the SSC-PAC Data Center Consolidation and Network Support Services Infrastructure Support. The Federal Data Center Consolidation Initiative (FDCCI) effort directs all Federal agencies to consolidate data centers and improve efficiency of all Information Technology (IT) operations. The goal is to reduce costs, enhance IT security posture, apply best practices and promote energy efficiencies. In response, the Secretary of the Navy, through the Navy’s Chief Information Officer (DoN CIO), established the DCAO and identified Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) as the lead. The DCAO oversees the consolidation process and transition from legacy data centers to the Navy Enterprise Data Center (NEDC) sites and the sustainment of those systems. The work to be conducted under this contract will support SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific in providing technical services to support technical and operational activities in the Cyberspace and IT domain by the Navy, DoD, and other Government Agencies.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides experience executing network plans for systems integration work tasks.
- Responds to technical customer tasking. Conducts site surveys.
- Assesses and documents current site network configuration and user requirements.
- Designs and optimizes network topologies.
- Follows engineering plans and site installation Technical Design Packages.

REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Potential to apply for a SECRET security clearance with a Special Clearance Investigation; US Citizenship required
- Ability to successfully complete the CGI Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment.
- Knowledge of PEOC4I System-of-Systems and End-to-End architecture
- Responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, installation, configuration, and support of client managed applications Linux Operating Systems and hosted Apache applications and services
- Ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to Information Assurance (IA) and Configuration Management (CM) standards.

ADDITIONAL Requirements:
- Demonstrate sufficient knowledge and experience to appropriately apply a methodology to projects that have reasonably well-defined project requirements and deliverables
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to successfully complete drug testing based on contract requirements.
- Ability to establish working relations at all organizational levels. Demonstrate ability to diplomatically and effectively deal with Government officials and program office stakeholders.
- Self-motivator with ability to work as part of a team or independently with little supervision or direction.
- Professional oral and written presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to build consensus between Program of Records and obtain executive approval
- Strong interpersonal and consultative skills to effectively communicate requirements
